Since 1993, Creative Theatrics has empowered children with the confidence and skills to empress themselves and perform in front of others.  We accomplish this goal by encouraging students to explore their fantasy lives and to express that life through improvisation, storytelling, and dramatic text. Students premiere their performances in the Great Room located in the beautiful Alliance of Resident Theatre of New York rehearsal/performance and office building.  Creative Theatrics/White Bird Productions’ office is also located within this building, just a couple of blocks from BAM.

Through company collaboration, commissioning playwrights, the use of found text, interviews, historical research and theatrical imagination, White Bird Productions has been developing and presenting vibrant new works since 1990. White Bird has a particular interest in the urban landscape, and how the residents and the natural environment of New York City complement and collide with one another.
